have been away at my mums for the week so got scrapping with her and my sister in law. I managed more scrapping up there then i have for last few months so very happy to get some challenges done. This is my one for Scrap The Boys using hanmade embellishments. I have made a little flag, cut out an arrow and used a purchased purple pumpkin handmade button.

but here i am with a layout!!! didnt do much scrapping in July and was beginning to think i had forgotten how to do it,LOL!! but i have done 2 this week,yay!!! found this sketch challenge over at Storyboard Kits . loved the LO, great inspiration over there and fab prizea, well worth checking out.

i attempted the grungy banner as my technique, i should of added a closeup maybe? but hopefully you can see the scrutching and inking of it (and now i am thinking i should have spaced it more so wasnt so neat!!! oh well!!!). Had a lot of fun doing this LO. its a beautiful day here so whilst Rory slept i let the sun into my room and scrapped!!!

over at GetPicky at the moment and here is my take on it. I really wanted to use this Kaisecraft PP from Bubblegum range in the background but it was a bit too bright for me so i gave it a light paint over with white paint to tone it down a bit. Another holiday LO done!!!

I dont know why but this green is always hard to photograph right (or maybe its just me) !! These are all October Afternoon papers and my take on the 123 Challenge . ,my fabric is there just have to look close, dont own a lot so this was the best i could do, small piece i sort of try to 'pleat' (if thats the word?) just under the chipboard. oh and i didnt know what to do with photos with all the other kids in the ride so i just stuck a piece of paper over them to photograph. thanks for stopping by

I was rather excited to see the Kaisercraft Call go out and thought yes i am going to apply! I was a little daunted at 'putting it out there' that i was as a requirement is a blog post containing 8 projects. But then all the old sayign went through my head like 'got nothing to lose' and 'got to be in it to win it'. So here it is! My dedicated blog post to 8 Kaisercraft Projects!!! I have no idea if i have what they are looking for but have given it my best shot as i just LOVE Kaisercraft products! The layouts and cards i made new for this, however the OTP and papercrafts are older projects.

1. Double LO using Nans Favourite Collection. I just love the colour of the circle diecut, add some string, tickets and thickers and I am done! This is a very simpleLO but a style i love so have included this one

2. Single LO using my new favourite Chanteuse Collection, used the grid stamp covered with paint and added a pearl strip and some Kaisercraft Alpha stickers

3. Single LO- using the Timeless collection in the background combined with Secret Bird Society and a small amount of orange from the Rewind Collection.

4. OTP advent calendar using 'Tis the Season

5. papercrafts- have used some dear santa paper and pearl strips and other. I choose to include this one as i loved them when i made them and used the template form the Kaisercraft site. they were teachers gifts that i made last year for Lucys teachers.

6. Card using After Five Collection, lace, diecut heart and doilie.

7. Card using the Chanteuse Range

8. Mini album using Made with Love Collection

Is the colour this month over at White With 1 along with artisan shapes, well i actually found it hard to include the artsian shape this time round. I have artsian spellbinders so i cut one out and then cut the ends out ( 2 of the spotty pp pieces) and then the date journal spot. This is Hannah on her birthday, she wanted a party but i just had the 2 neighbours over, between us that is 7 kids so a party in itself. The inlaws live in QLD so dont get too many of these photos. The colours havent come out as nice as they are IRL, the background pp is an October Afternoon one.

Well we have returned from our 12 days away, had a fantastic time. The kids LOVED it all but came home very exhausted but full of stories, photos and memories to tell!!! I took 898 photos (oops!) am yet to start scrapping them but Lucy has done 2,LOL! we got home thursday afternoon and she wansted to scrap then and there, ahh waht hope does she have ,LOL!

Scrapped them already you say,LOL!!! Yes i have!!Lucy started on wednesday and Hannah yesterday!!! I bought the October Afternoon Schoolhouse paper pad and stickers back in december and have been hanging out to use them. So when Hannah crashed out after half day of kindy and Rory went to sleep i jumped straight into doing this layout for the sketch over at Annas was perfect for the 3 photo sketch.

Lucy informed me she was too tired for school today but i told her she was still going and she just said ok so hopefully she will be!! Can sleep in tomorrow.

over at Get Picky was to get inspiration form the Bob Dylan song "Forever Young" so i used the line 'may you stay forever young' as my title for this LO of Rory being as cheeky as ever climbing in the cupboard!!!!

i loved printing these in black and white so i could match any papers i wanted. I have used October Afternoon campfire pp's, nothing to do with camping i just loved the green!!! added spme orange MME chipboard stickers and Jillibean soup alphas.

This is lucy with her present from Santa, she has been asking for a cd player for about mths. When she woke up and saw a present in her Santa bag she squeals "im not on the naughty list!!!!". i dont think she ever thought she was but it was soooooooooo cute!! ANd then she opened it and well was one satisfied little girl!!!

2011!!!! Still doesnt seem real does it? Its been soooooooooo hot in WA so why not stay indoors and scrap!!! I was all keen to do this challenge over at White with 1 , printed these photos then i realised i didnt have the right blue!! i went in search and was losing hope when i remembered some disney cruise line papers my sister gave me (she works on the cruise ships) so i was able to do it after all!!

this month was grey! I had a few scraps of grey and remembered i had grey cardstock so i gave it a go, masking was also required , check it out HERE . I really dont know what im doing there with masking, its not something i really do!!! Love this cutie pic of ROry last christmas, somehow i missed scrapping it so did it for this months KraftItUp challenge! To scrap a LO using non-traditional chrissy colours (and use knots), then i realised i had used 'green' but too me its an aqua colour and not what i would call traditional colour so think i should be right, and if not a love the colours so all is good!!!

Teachers Gifts

I made 7 of these for Lucys teachers, aides and principal (being at a small school she is very involved and lovely so made one for her too). SO i didnt want anything to big. I got the template from the Kaisercraft Website here in the papercrafts section. They are filled with chocolates,yummo!!!

I have actually played along at home to Kraft It UP but never been brave enough to upload!! there is so much talent playing along there but i loev this photo and wanted to share it so here it is!!!! My parents sold their station and they had a place we loved to visit THE ROCK, yes its a big rock but so amazing!! And this is the last visit we had out there. Hence the simple LO, large photo and all the journalling.

Nearly a month has passed...

And i havent uploaded anything!!! MAinly because i havent done a lot of LO's (but i will add 2 shortly) but have done some OTP's. I already have my own set of kaiser draws and then i bought a set to make one for the girls to share. And then 1 won another set so they got one each. Normally they both want pink but to my horror Lucy only wanted PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO i did my best but admit i prefer the pink ones!!! I have used MME FIne and Dandy 6x6 pad and chipboard stickers. Along with my nestabilities my most AWESOME SIL bought me, they were the exact ones i had been eyeing of!!

From the sketch comp over at the Kaisercraft Blog . managed to do these 2 the last few days. Of to mum and dads for a few days tomorrow so thought id quickly share these. Rory has decided he will climb everything. He is proud as punch sitting at my desk reaching the mouse. He called out to me and i came to find this!!!

And he decided he should be allowed to help make a cake! Not so helpul but he did enjoy licking the bowl afterwards!!!

Have been going through my albums lately and there are just LO's I HATE!!!! I did them when i was so new to the whole internet scrapping and hadnt really discovered all the awesome goodies out there or techniques etc. so i decided to redo a few, not all of them, just some i guess i was never happy with. So i have taken just the photo from the old one and completly started again with these LO's. so these are all NEW LO's.

every month over at Scrap of Difference Jo sets a product challenge, you have 2mths to complete the challenge so plenty of time to order supplies and get the LO done. Julys product was PRIMA with at least paper from the Wtercolour Rainbow Collection. Heres my take using pp,alphas, vine and stickers from Prima.

Blast from the past CC

When Jo at Scrap of Difference asked for ideas for the CC theme i had this photo of me sitting in front of me so i suggested a CC using old photos, the DT liked it so Blast from the Past it was. I did the sketch challenge again this month creating this LO and making a sketch from it.

JO's colour challenge had us all raiding our stash as it was brown/lilac. To be honest i wasnt sure what to do but last night i came up with this, the photos form 2004. i just added a small amount of lilac, the c/s and journal spot but i actually like the little touch it adds.

DH's birthday today and he has hinted as soemthing with with lemon in it as we have heaps on the tree and we were looking at recipes on the weekend. With yum being the general response im of to make lemon meringue pie!!!!

I soooooooo dont do purple so i struggled to find stuff for this LO! NO other colour would go with those purple hands,LOL!! this LO is for Scrap the girls . I did this Lo because every tuesday and thursday when Lucy is at kindy and ROry goes to sleep i ask Hannah what would she like to do. And the answer is ALWAYS the same "I want to paint!". She paints with a paintbrush on paper for a little bit which progresses to her hands and yes, always ends up looking like this!!! But she loves it and it washes off!!!!!

Its currently raining and i dare not complain as we really need it over here in the west!

These 2 LO's are for challenges over at Kaisercraft . I wanted to scrap this little story of Lucy. We were going for a walk on afternoon when she said her teacher told her to come home and tell mum and dad what she wanted to be when she was older. Her response: a hairdresser!!!! SO i thought id document that for when she was older!! I have used the Hey Birdie range for this one.

I just love Kaisercrafts Jungle Bug range for LO's of Rory! i just loved this photo so decided to go big and just embellish !! added some OA stickers, bit of another fav at the moment. and i love these big alphas too and then there is the BG tabs, love them just shame they are a bit expensive but sometimes you just have to have these things!!

and another just because i had to play some more with my grid stamp. i absolutely LOVE it!!!

this is a 'just because i had to play with some new goodies' LO. i just love the new BG tabs and ribbon doiles in the Olivia range. And the Bo Bunny journal pages. I got them all from Annas with my voucher (and a little more,LOL!). This is Hannahs 'dirty' pillow that she has carted everywhere with her since she was 1 (now 3 1/4) and she has never let it have a pillow case on it. She will sleep anywhere as long as she has that pillow! Well it got a big hole in it so we convinced her to pick out some material and to get nana to make it a cover. So now that it has the cover she still likes it but doesnt have to take it everywhere! I wonder if it will be the end for 'the' pillow? i had to scrap it as its been a big part of Hannah and her sleep!!!!

Scrap the Girls entry...

Heres my take on the sketch over at Scrap the girls for this months challenge.

ANd we have a new baby!!! Steve bought home a lamb yesterday that had lost its mum. The kids are so excited naming her 'Elle' which is what they like to name there dolls and teddies on occassion!! I will reserve my judgement incase it becomes a ratbag!! At least it didnt keep us up all night like our son did last night,LOL!!!

I just got my yummy order from Annas Craft in the mail!!! the girls are eyeing it off too so i better keep it up high!! ANyway they want to scrap and Rory is asleep so good excuse to use some new goodies!!!

We have just spent a week up at my parents. Steve had the week of and school holidays so it was nice to head up for the week!!! Kids had a ball, they just love it up there. I managed to get some scrapping in with mum and my SIL which is always nice. This one i have done forAnnas Craft Cupboard sketch. Give it a go to be in the draw for a $40 voucher!!! Its such a super shop too and i won last month!!!! So excited!!!

And this is my sample for July challenge over at Out of Hat the Challenge . the rainbow had me stumped so theres a tiny one there,LOL!! but check out the gallery some very creative ideas there for the rainbow!! The challnge is to use a rainbow, raw chipboard and a little critter!

Is in both of these!! I decided to do a 6x12 just because LO and just love it!!! i had previously used the other half of the prima vine on another Lo and wanted to use the rest for this one. Prima fans dont shoot me for cutting it up, i find it hard to justify putting such an expensive embellishment on one LO so I shared it out,LOL!!

And this one is using Kaisercraft La Di Da pp and Hey Birdie pp, 6x6 pad and diecuts. For 1 of the June sketches over here.

Had their Cybercrop last weekend and here is some of what i did. It was all about the numbers. The card challenge was to use numbers on the card besides just the age.

The theme to do a double with at leaat 4 photos and a number embellishment

and then there was the sketch which i just loved! i flippes it on its side to suit my photos.

SOD cybercrop...

The weekend just gone was cybercrop weekend over at Scrap of Difference . I got to set one of the challneges this month. The theme was sing a song so I choose a cd cover to use for the colour combo. I cant show you my sample as its been picked up by SBM!!! But i can show you what i did for the other challenges. The card challenge was to create a bright card, use 1 button and choose the sentiment from a list of options.

technique challenge to use stamps. The colours havent quite come out so good in this one.

And then there was the sketch.

I had such a productive weekend as the other site i visit Scrap Therapy had their cybecrop on too and i managed 3 Lo's and the card challenge but i will share another day!!! As well as a trip to perth and a drive out to see the lambs and calves with the family. I enjoyed scrapping at night by the fire!!!

layouts to share!!! i did these on the weekend but had to wait for some sunshine to photograph them. This one is for sketch over at Kaisercraft blog using the Jungle Bug papers and diecuts which is my current fav!!! Rory just loves the dogs, especially Brownie!!!

And these are photos i have scrapped before for the family album but this one is to go in Hannahs own album. I try to keep the kids albums reasonably up to date, they dont have a lot go in there just birthdays, christmas and 'special' things. Hannah and I put all my LO's in the albums yesterday (well hannah tried to help!) and then worked out what the kids needed in theres and this was one on the list. thought the photos were perfect for the challenge over at Scrap The Girls

I have 1 more LO to share but not until friday!! Its cybercrop time over at Scrap Of Difference and i have set a challenge. All will be revealed on friday morning come over and check it out!!!
