Hope you all had a fabulous christmas!! We had a very hot over 40degree day but still a fabulous day!!! We all did well on the presents front. Home sweet home today and aircon taking forever to cool the house down, the office is the coolest room so whilst the kids paint thought id upload my 3 Lo's i did last week. Scrap the Boys...

I have been wanting to play along at Scrap the Boys for sometime but this is the first time i have, Rory could fit both dancer and prancer though im yet to successfully capture him dancing on camera!! But here he is in his element showing off at the playgroup christmas party so id say for this one he's a prancer!!!

White with 1...

this month was grey! I had a few scraps of grey and remembered i had grey cardstock so i gave it a go, masking was also required , check it out HERE . I really dont know what im doing there with masking, its not something i really do!!! Its hard to see but above the photo on left hand side i have used glimmermist (again dont know what m doing,LOL) and some circles and then ,obviously, top right hand side of LO. Its just a very simple LO...

Kraft It Up

Love this cutie pic of ROry last christmas, somehow i missed scrapping it so did it for this months KraftItUp challenge! To scrap a LO using non-traditional chrissy colours (and use knots), then i realised i had used 'green' but too me its an aqua colour and not what i would call traditional colour so think i should be right, and if not a love the colours so all is good!!!

Woohoo 3 Lo's!!

Was beginning to think i couldnt rememebr how to scrapbook!! This one was a few days ago and just because... it wouldnt work for what i was trying so i decided to do a just because LO and it went together a lot easier!

this one is for the sketch over at Annas , go check it out and whilst you there check out the sale!!! Its an awesome sale but i have done a little damage,LOL!!

and this one is for over at 123 challenge , just couldnt get it to photograph better! ANd i so wanted to play with tissue paper but all i could find was a small white piece so hopefully it can be seen ok (down the left side of LO and above the photo on right)! Will be giving the tissue paper a go another time though! I really wanted to do it today and being out on the farm.... i jsut had to make do!

Teachers Gifts

I made 7 of these for Lucys teachers, aides and principal (being at a small school she is very involved and lovely so made one for her too). SO i didnt want anything to big. I got the template from the Kaisercraft Website here in the papercrafts section. They are filled with chocolates,yummo!!!

i let Lucy make the cards herself! NOt as pretty as i wanted,LOL, but thought it was special for her to do them herself. The kaisercraft card pads very perfect for that i thought.


HOpe you are all well, havent had the tiem of late to get around to many blogs but hopefully after the silly season i will! And then next year when i have 2 at school!!

Scrap of Difference

Scrap Of Difference CC is on!!!!!! And here is the sketch i created...

the theme is HOW TIME FLIES so i did this LO of Hannah ready for her kindy orientation. Can you believe she is going next year! And Lucy going everyday (well obviously not the weekend) !!! Every says oh you wont know what to do with yourself with only Rory at home!!!! YES i will he is so full on and keeps me on my toes so no peace for me!!

Kraft It Up!

I have actually played along at home to Kraft It UP but never been brave enough to upload!! there is so much talent playing along there but i loev this photo and wanted to share it so here it is!!!! My parents sold their station and they had a place we loved to visit THE ROCK, yes its a big rock but so amazing!! And this is the last visit we had out there. Hence the simple LO, large photo and all the journalling.

Nearly a month has passed...

And i havent uploaded anything!!! MAinly because i havent done a lot of LO's (but i will add 2 shortly) but have done some OTP's. I already have my own set of kaiser draws and then i bought a set to make one for the girls to share. And then 1 won another set so they got one each. Normally they both want pink but to my horror Lucy only wanted PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO i did my best but admit i prefer the pink ones!!! I have used MME FIne and Dandy 6x6 pad and chipboard stickers. Along with my nestabilities my most AWESOME SIL bought me, they were the exact ones i had been eyeing of!!

Sketch LO's..

From the sketch comp over at the Kaisercraft Blog . managed to do these 2 the last few days. Of to mum and dads for a few days tomorrow so thought id quickly share these. Rory has decided he will climb everything. He is proud as punch sitting at my desk reaching the mouse. He called out to me and i came to find this!!!

And he decided he should be allowed to help make a cake! Not so helpul but he did enjoy licking the bowl afterwards!!!

A Mixture of LO's to share...

Have been going through my albums lately and there are just LO's I HATE!!!! I did them when i was so new to the whole internet scrapping and hadnt really discovered all the awesome goodies out there or techniques etc. so i decided to redo a few, not all of them, just some i guess i was never happy with. So i have taken just the photo from the old one and completly started again with these LO's. so these are all NEW LO's.

Product Challenge...

every month over at Scrap of Difference Jo sets a product challenge, you have 2mths to complete the challenge so plenty of time to order supplies and get the LO done. Julys product was PRIMA with at least paper from the Wtercolour Rainbow Collection. Heres my take using pp,alphas, vine and stickers from Prima.

August product challenge was to use crafters template. This is what i came up with....

Blast from the past CC

When Jo at Scrap of Difference asked for ideas for the CC theme i had this photo of me sitting in front of me so i suggested a CC using old photos, the DT liked it so Blast from the Past it was. I did the sketch challenge again this month creating this LO and making a sketch from it.

JO's colour challenge had us all raiding our stash as it was brown/lilac. To be honest i wasnt sure what to do but last night i came up with this, the photos form 2004. i just added a small amount of lilac, the c/s and journal spot but i actually like the little touch it adds.

DH's birthday today and he has hinted as soemthing with with lemon in it as we have heaps on the tree and we were looking at recipes on the weekend. With yum being the general response im of to make lemon meringue pie!!!!

PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

I soooooooo dont do purple so i struggled to find stuff for this LO! NO other colour would go with those purple hands,LOL!! this LO is for Scrap the girls . I did this Lo because every tuesday and thursday when Lucy is at kindy and ROry goes to sleep i ask Hannah what would she like to do. And the answer is ALWAYS the same "I want to paint!". She paints with a paintbrush on paper for a little bit which progresses to her hands and yes, always ends up looking like this!!! But she loves it and it washes off!!!!!

Its currently raining and i dare not complain as we really need it over here in the west!

Using Kaisercraft

These 2 LO's are for challenges over at Kaisercraft . I wanted to scrap this little story of Lucy. We were going for a walk on afternoon when she said her teacher told her to come home and tell mum and dad what she wanted to be when she was older. Her response: a hairdresser!!!! SO i thought id document that for when she was older!! I have used the Hey Birdie range for this one.

I just love Kaisercrafts Jungle Bug range for LO's of Rory! i just loved this photo so decided to go big and just embellish !! added some OA stickers, bit of another fav at the moment. and i love these big alphas too and then there is the BG tabs, love them just shame they are a bit expensive but sometimes you just have to have these things!!

and another just because i had to play some more with my grid stamp. i absolutely LOVE it!!!
